The Mitten Building | JimKat Redlands Wedding

Any California wedding photographer will tell you Southern California is full of beautiful places and beautiful faces.  Kat and Jimmie, the couple you may recognize from my earlier post, are a perfect example of what California does best.  They brought me out to their Redlands wedding and showed me a fantastic time. We started off in their homes, got to spend a few short minutes at the Redlands Train Station (see below) and finished up the day at The Mitten Building.  It was a whirlwind tour but they definitely showed me how spectacular a Redlands wedding can be.

One thing I will always remember about this wedding is the emotional speech Jimmie gave.  He took the time to tell all of the people in the room what they meant to both him and Kat and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house by the time he finished.  Yes, even wedding photographers get emotional.  It was a great gesture and the love in that room was palpable.  Thanks for making me part of such an awesome day, JimKat.

As a way of saying thank you for the fantastic referral, I’d like to introduce you to the Maid of Honor and sister of the bride: Jackie.  She writes a blog called What Your Girlfriend is Thinking, which she describes this way: The ultimate guy’s girl gives a great description for what your uninterested girlfriend is thinking about all of your sports news.  So, if you wish to bridge the gender gap concerning sports, you should head on over and check it out.  You could learn something.

And finally, a very special thanks to Jerry Giles, my second shooter for the day. He always makes the day more fun for me and for everyone else.
